It's pretty obvious what everything is meant to be. On the left we see our friendly Axeman's portrait and hit points, on the right we see his attack, melee armor, pierce armor and range. (In that order, for those of you who were confused.) Some of you may have already noticed what I am curious about: the armor values are expressed as percentages. Because of this, it doesn't matter what upgrade level your opponents' units are at, your units' armor will decrease more damage if your opponent's unit does more damage. Do the maths if you're confused. AoK: My unit has 5 armor. Enemy unit has 10 attack, so it does 5 damage. But when the enemy unit is upgraded to a new unit level, it gets 15 attack. It still only has 5 attack taken away though. AoM: My unit has 50% armor. Enemy unit still hs 10 attack, it still does 5 damage. But when it gets upgraded so that it has 15 attack, it only does 7.5 damage. (AoK scaled numbers up, so it would do 8 damage, I guess.) Kinda makes attack upgrades less attractive. Maybe upgrades will be more profound in AoM. [This message has been edited by TheShadowDawn (edited 04-22-2002 @ 11:16 PM).]
