I see that as of right now 45 people have voted "No Not At All" to having NOmad in AoM. I just want to know 2 things, 1) wth are you thinking? 2) wut is ur name and address, I have a few pipe bombs to mail .
Seriously guys why would you vote "No Not At All"? How does it hurt you guys, even if you don't appreciate the true coolness of not actually knowing exactly where everything is, to have NOmad included in the game? NOmad is the most strategic, not to mention coolest, map in AoK and I seriously cannot beleive you guys wouldn't want it included in AoM .

My point exactly, there is a different category for not caring but these people went out of the way to say they specifically did not want NOmad in AoM. Now far be it from me to speculate idly but I beleive this may the flush-wh0re crowd trying to keep as much strategy out of the game as they can so they can use their one strat over and over again without having to learn anything new.

I voted for nomad, of course. But I thought that the question was not very clear. It should be written as: "do you want to see nomad in AOM" or "do you want to see nomad as its own Game Type like RM or DM".
I think those that voted "no" got confused between seeing nomad in AOM and seeing nomad in AOM as a separate game type.

Er... I like NOmad... But can it actually be included in the game ?
What I mean: AOK had only 3villies+scout as ur starting units, right? So nomad was just leave out the scout and scatter the 3 villes, right? SO... AOM each culture will hav different starting units, Norse=2 gathers + 1 ulfsark. If these units are scatterd across the map, you would be at a HUGE disadvantage, cause what if it was a 4v4 player game and they did a villie gang up on your ulfsark before he built a TC?
They cannot not do this in an RM cause ur town center will tear them to shreds. Anyway in RM who'd do that anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I like NOmad (not obsessive like u guys though) but the only way I see it being included in the game is if the starting units are different for each game type, but I don't think ES would ever do that.

i voted for dont care either way, because, well... i never used it. mainly because i mainly play the computer due to limited internet access.
if they make the AI better ( which im sure they will ), ill play some more nomad games

Well petard you haven't answered the Norse question. I'm worried that would make it impossible. How would you get around that?
Maybe make a special rule that in nomad Norse villies can build. Maybe they can build only a TC and no other building type (assuming ulfsarks can be trained at the TC). What would you do with that problem?
Magicmel you live in Texas? Have you tried to go to ES to playtest AoM?

there are 2 ways for it to work with NOrse
1. They start with an Ulfsark, which can build the TC, but if it dies than thye die
2. NOrse villies can build 1 TC, then lose the power to build(this is a lot better idea)
As for WHERE the TCs can be built, i think the origional TC should be wherever you want, but the rest of the TCs have to be on settlements (There is really no way to keep the fun of NOmad if you cant decide where your TC goes, that is hte point of NOmad)
