and I quote.
"+Bruce@ES> I could be wrong on specs. The game is six months to go!"
This kinda takes the wind out of my sails. I can barely wait until September. This would push the game to November!

well, it has officially been pushed back to October, and most likely will be pushed back even further, so 6 months may be correct.

On the other side of the coin so to speak, many great games, (dare I say greater games than AOM) will be released towards the end of the year. They will divert gaming sales even more (away from AOM), perhaps ES should aim to avoid the Christmas sales completely, the AOM technology is
rapidly aging, masterpieces like Sudden Strike 2, Hidden and Dangerous 2, Deus Ex 2, Half-Life 2, Operation Flashpoint 2(Under the name of "Independance Lost"() will be out (some very nearly to come out) Aging AOM should avoid coming out with them like the plague.
There's a high chance AOM will even not make the sales it would do if it were to be released tommorow at the Christmas gaming rush!

Dionsys, people have a wide range of taste. Some of those games don't even appeal to them. AoM will make sales, especially during christmas. Yes, AoM is not as noticable now but come e3 time this year, people will know what AoM is...a major contender in the gaming market. But I want the game to be out before christmas anyway since I hate to wait for christmas.
