Has been covered. I have been too busy playing Age of Conquerors to notice this. Lord people know tons about this game. So in your opinions what is the thing that makes it the most different from the other Age of Empires games.

AoM's going to different in too many ways to list... The obvious differences are the new game engine and graphics, and the mytholigical theme.
If you're new to AoM, it might be an idea to read the Gamespot showcases. They explain how the game will work and some of how the three cultures work.

most spiffy, they opened the showcases again. i thought they closed the old ones?
It's like watching a flock of clown-like apes trying to navigate a ship, even though the ship has in fact been stranded on some kind of reef for about 7 years and none of the apes have noticed it yet. -Drahnier on OD moderation.

No, reopened a while ago. I expect someone at ES sent Gamespot some nasty mail or something.

I'd have to say everything is different except wood, gold, food, villagers, town centers, some other buildings (barracks), and the start of the name.

I have to say the thing I'm most interested is the minor god concept. I haven't encoutered it before.

How about the civs? You couldn't choose techs or special units each age you advanced in AOK or AOE...I really dig that. ...oh yes, and they play far more differently than civs in previous games...use resources differently...have unique units...oh man we could go on all day.

Hate to bust your bubble but you are wrong about TCs. Town Centers, in AOM, can only be built on settlements.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I was just saying they are. Not that they can be built only on settlements.

Adding a myth unit to an army is like adding a Palidan to a feudal raiding party in my opinion.
So I'd go with MU.

Civilization(or Civilisation, it doesn't matter to me) bonuses are huge. Instead of giving out small little bonuses(Celtic sheep bonus) to each of the civs like they did in AOK, they give huge, powerful bonuses to all the civs in AOM. These 'bonuses' also include god powers.
