I was thinking, will we be able to mass the great armies that we were able to make in the previous age games. I remember a long time ago (yeasterday) playing AOK TC and having an army of 150 or more if I put the pop at 200. Well I don't know how big the AOM pop cap will be but i've noticed that MU's cost over 2 pop slots and can go to 4 pop slots depeding on how large the MU is. Also cavalry will cost 2 pop slots. No with that info in mind how large of an army do you think you will be able to mass, also how high does the pop cap go to.
I hope this will be answered with the alpha.
Whoever reads what I said above should disregard whatever I said, because I probably don't know what im talking about.

You probably won't be able to get 100+ unit armies if you insist on using cav and MUs, however if you go infantry and archers you could, and if you capped a tons of settlements if you were playing a 6v6 then you could prolly get a pretty nice pop cap.

The pop cap as I understand it pretty much goes as high as the number of settlements you get.
As for 100+ unit armies, I'll be dead before then.

I regularly build armies over 150, but I have to have tons of resources and be completly walled off and defended before my enemy attacks me, and they cant attack with siege until I'm ready to win.
