A clan is built on membership, not 'people who care'. By that definition, all you'd need is 1 person to be in a clan.
Secondly, I think it's smart to start recruiting now. The people who are here in this forum are the hardcore of the hardcore.
Think about it, we're POSTING before the game comes out. Some of us are building websites, revising past strategies, and are really hyped about the alpha so that they can call people 'newbies'.
What I don't agree with are the so-called Zone @$$hole clans who go out, do the same lame strat over and over again, flame, behave badly, and then give all clans a bad name. (Which is some of the behaviour I'm seeing here)
There seem to be three types of clans out there; expert tournament, @$$hole Zone, and open membership clans. the first two beat up on the latter is no great mystery.
It's a self-confidence problem.
