I don't realy know how can the God Power Rain be useful as it benefits both you and your enemies. If you use it in the first age and your enemies are norse or greek, it can be useful but if your enemy is an egyptian then it will be useful for your enemy the same as for you.
I realy want to know what kind of strategy can be implemented to use Rain efficiently.

Well, if you wait until the next age, you could use it in conjunction with locust swarm, and destroy your opponents farms.
I like how the different cultures get farms at different ages, it is so much more like the real world then AOK

Actually rain is good. Your economy can get a good boost from it. Also, if you use Locust Swarm GP with it, it's even better.

What if I use rain and my enemy is also an egyptian? Then he can enjoy this GP the same as me. And does the Locust Swarm destroys all of the farms of every enemies?

Can you introduce a thread to me that shows a strategy to use rain (rather than using it with locust swarm)?

Yeah, I started one a few days ago and there were some really good ideas presented there. I'm too lazy to give you the link, but go check it out.

Hydra Hunter: at the bottom of "General Dissucssion and Suggestions" There is a search feature, us that. I have personally posted in about 5 topics dealing with this very same subject: Ra's rain.
The basic strat is to get wood and build farms first and use it before norse/greeks get to the 2nd age and build their own farms. It can also be timed with an egyptian ally so that when the first rain stops, another begins giving all egyptian players with any substantial farming a big food boost.

well a tactical use for rain: When you flush someone in the second age you will hit his farms and other buildings, he will keep his villagers garrisoned in his tc when you come to near Then you cast rain, you will mostly need wood and food for your troops in that period so you can even produce more troops while your opponent can't even farm decently or VS odin, poseidon who seem to be more a hunter civ you can build some farms and cast rain while your opponent doesn't have one (atleast less then you)ofcourse he can start building farms but even then is your ahead start to big. ALL GP have their uses, because you decide when to use them,
this is mmy respinse on a older thread about this subject
know(after hades showcase) i know that each soldiers also costs gold but you will still need plently of food so.

Thanks everybody for your directions. AE: I knew about the search and I used it before I start this thread but when I searched for "rain", most of the topics I found were about "Terrain"! so I refused to search any more (However I found the "Rain, not as bad as it seems" afew minutes ago). Sorry if I started a topic that already exists.
