Why don't one of you alphas who has a crappy computer, or is going on vacation, or just isn't going to have time to play; go ahead and put your alpha up on Ebay. That should be ok, shouldn't? You would probably make enough to pay for the real game when it comes out, and you are not going to be using it anyway.

the alpha would have to go for quite a while so that everyone can get good into the game so that they can find balancing issues and bugs and stuff... if everybody just plays it for a week or so I doubt ES will get any usefull results from the alpha...

Yea were is the fun in selling the alpah and losing the opportunities to rub in the fact that the alpha is ours and not yours.

It would be worth almost as much as the regular game to me as well as long as it was still usable even after a few months but they will shut it down. Otherwise it would be a great keepsake.

I was just thinking that maybe 1 person in 10,000 would not mind unloading his unopened copy of the game in exchange for some cash. I mean come on guys, you know somebody got the alpha and isn't gonna play it for some reason or another.
