1. Is the mountain giant efficient at killing units or is it only good vs. weak units and buildings?

2. Who is the best favor gatherer? It sounds like Greek can get it fastest at the end.

3. What is wrong with Ra and Thor? I haven't heard many games of them. I've heard stories of them but only because they were randomly picked.

4. What is the troll's special look like? I don't know if it's against the NDA because the troll's been showcased.

5. Is the shade as strong as say the anubite or stronger/weaker? All the things I've read of them says they're weak.

6. How much cheaper are Loki's MU's? I know he gets cheaper cause I read it at IGN, but how much cheaper is it? 20%, 25%, what is it?

1. Its good against units, but nearly all myth units are. Its focus is buildings though.

2. Greece have the most controllable favor income. Egypt have the most efficient. Personally I like the norse way best, because you don't have to do anything to get it...you just fight. Less aggressive players will have trouble getting favor as norse though.

3. Nothing is wrong with Ra...he's one of the more powerful civs due to stronger econ and scouting. Thor is underpowered in the current build, but apparently that as been addressed.

4. The Troll doesn't have a special attack or ability. It's a really effective unit though.

5. They're weaker than any human unit. ES has mentioned they might have beefed up the shades bonus, which I hope they have, cos its kinda dismal as things stand.

6. A very small amount. I think it's ~10% less favor in the alpha.

I got a question, its a simple and knda dumb one, so I didnt make a new topic for it.

Will there be an open beta test? i know theres an alpha test in progress, but will there be a beta that 'I' can sign up for and actually have a chance of getting into?

thx,

No. There will be a demo after release though.

Ok. Here's some more

1. Can Mu's be healed, or is it limited to humans?

2. Do some unit's have different names that are in the same group? I know Hersir do, like Eric Treesmasher or something, but I saw a screen where an Ice giant said that it was from Thryrm on it's name. Like "Frost Giant of Thryrm"

3. Is this already happened, or is it a dumb idea, but is there a meter like on a mu's stats that show how long it will take before it's special comes back?

4. Are battle boars mechanical or living?

5. Since Polyphemus is a cyclops, an Mu, does he fall under the category of something that gets more damage from a hero?

1. Limited to mortal units. (I think)
2. Pharaoh's have diferent names. Frost Giants don't.
3. It's in.
4. Mechanical. But they behave just like any other MU.
5. He's a hero and takes damage as a hero.

MU's can get healed, but I don't know if flying MU's can. At least, the Nidhogg can't.

Give me money, and I might feel generous enough to say something kind.

Yeah...MU's can be healed same as everything else. Siege weapons can be healed too.

Son of Osiris and Nidhogg can't be healed for balance reasons.

When you get a Myth unit upgrade, their name typically changes. Frost Giant of Thrymn is the name change when you get the Rime upgrade as Skadi - which boosts their HP and attack I think.

However, Hersir and Pharaoh do get different individual names.

I hope ES really dig deep and give the Hersirs names like Skjold Unge (Shield Kid) ..according 2 a norse saga ..the gods send the mortals 2 kids on a shield ..drifting ashore..they became kings ..etc etc
..instead of ordinary names like Rollo ..Erik the Red ..etc etc

I seem to recall such a post. I also seem to recall it being one with no factual basis.

Only Odin's human units regenerate. Trolls are "vampiric" and heal themselves when they damage enemies.
