According to a recent war story it was implied that Gold in a mine is random and that they can have at least 6k in them... can someone confirm this to a poor non-alpa-er

Are there less Gold Mines now then AoK Cluster Gold Mines, (I mean one AoK Cluster=1 AoM Gold mine)

Every map is very different. And also there is a setting as resources on map - little/normal/a lot
Alfheim has at least 3 times more food that midgaard for example. So I can;t tell you how much gold is on the map. Some maps more, some maps less. And it alsp depends on your settings.

I truly think Thor would own in Midgard or any other map with scarce food because of their dwarves only need gold for production.

Don't compare patches of gold with gold mines. In AOE and AOK there were a few gold patches in each mine, the smallest number being 3 and most of the time it was 5 or more. When you take it into account, it compares better with AOM.
