I believe the last time i checked the hersir had a base attack of 8. Now I checked and it has a base attack of 3!? For a hero?! I realize they are meant mainly to be effective against myth units but to cripple them that badly against all other units i think is pretty damn harsh. Especially considering you would like them to do a lot of fighting in order to gain favor. I believe now you can research a technology every age advance to give an extra 10% attack, which i think in the end is still pretty poor( 3 +10% +10% +10% = 3.993) It seems they reduced the ulfsarks attack to 3 as well, but in classical a +6 attack can be researched, which seems very fair to me, as a 9 in archaic may be too strong. I wonder why they didn't do the same with the hersir. I hope this is a typo, but if it isn't please let me know what u guys think about this, thanx.

hersir's attack is 3 only in archaic, in classical, it goes up to its normal amount. same with the ulfsark, so you can't rush with them.

thanks guys...i figured there might be something wrong with that figure. It's just in the ulfsark unit description it mentions the plus 6 attack in classical, it does not mention any such increase in the hersir unit description, besides a 10% bonus every age. Anyways, this is good to hear, thanx again.
