I know we had the turks in AoC.....not to say one civ in AoM will be worse than the others, but which one will be played the least? Set hasn't gotten many votes on the site, so I'm guessing it'll be him/her (whatever that thing is).

I think you'll find that all nine civilisations are very evenly based. But if your looking in terms of an unpopular major god then i'm not too sure. But i'm sure that Loki is going to be very popular with AoM gamers though.

I think it will be Ra

Have not seen much posted about him or can not find anything amazing about him besides his priest.

I had played the alpha and when I get retail, Set will be the first one I try because he has changed the most.

Ra ha slaos boni for midgol stronghold units, hasnt he? plus wonders cost only 50% plus pahraoh empowered dropsited have more ressources plus priests can empore buildings, too.

I think Ra is the best Egyptian civ. Isis is too economy stressed, something not needed with the anyway economy-strong Egyptians (although in team games it may be nice, on 1v1 or also quick deathmatches you need more military focus). And Set... yeah I think Set is the worst civ, so Id put my money on him being the underdog.

Ra's economy is very powerful. He is among the most popular at our offices.

Set may be an underdog because he requires a lot of attention to use the animals correctly. His strategies are not as straight forward as, say, Poseidon training cavalry. Odin and Thor might be runners up. The Greeks are all pretty straight forward, as are Loki and Isis.

IMO Ra owns completely I always play muuuch better with him than any other egyptian civs.

Imo isis is too "conventional". Her main bonus is cheaper things basically, but i do like her whole GP-blocking monuments.

Set will be played by people who want abstract strategies, because i think he isn't as good if you try conventional eggy strategies with him, but people will prolly still own with him if they play properly

So i think Poseidon will not be played as much as the others, unless it is on water maps, cos he specialises in cavalry, but greek cavalry isnt really as fast as others, they are mainly powerhouses imo so zeus hoplites can be used in the same way.
