What is this GP? Unlike most Heroic GP it doesnt look powerful as much as it should. All it does is raiding farms and trapping units. Is that an eco-GP ir mili-GP? Does it last long? No, only 20 seconds, which is very short comparted with others?
Well then does it raid alot of food? Is it useful? (really when you think of Frost, Underground Passage or Ancestors, you really wonder if this GP is underpowered)

Gods are more or less balanced in the fact that they make up for it in other areas.
Hathor has some really great myth units.
Roc is awesome for moving laborers around the map mining up things and getting over enemy fortification.
Petsucho is an awesome support and ranged unit. It can also to take out buildings from a large distance. A truely scary combo is Petsuchos+Avengers, thankfully we have heroes to deal with myth units
Hathor also has a fairly useful techs:
-Sun Dried Mud Brick Buildings have 20% more HP, cost 15% less Its really nice if you are limited on resources and great overall. It didn't cost too much resources either.
-Crocodopolis Petsuchos has +4 range Must have for petsuchos IMO.
Medjay isn't that great unless you like Mercs.
I do agree that locust swarm isn't too great compared to other god powers but if it was any better, Hathor would be too strong. Its still useful for crippling economies. Especialy Eggies who usualy will have plenty of farms.

In the alpha, Locust also killed the villagers mining the farms. In fact, I used couple of times on a patch of gold, and it killed 5-6 villagers. Not very strong, but petuchos make up for it. And roc is great too, for snneaking rams and killing houses and TCs to reduce population.
I think it's weak cause the two MUs it comes with are powerful. But apart from destroying enemy farms and villagers, I'm pretty sure Locust Swarm also gives food to the player using it - basically food stolen from the farms.
It is *absolutely* killer if you use it right. If you use it wrong, is is a mere nuisance.
In the right situation, it can starve your opponent of food, setting their growth (military and economic) back far enough to give you a serious edge. In a situation where you successfully food-starve an opponent, you've pretty much won the game. It's really the only GP that can be so influential in winning a game.

The best method of using it is to use the locust swarm on your enemy's farms, then to use the Ra rain godpower. Food galore!

Forest Fire doesn't always suck. It just depends a lot on the map. Sometimes your opponent will only have one forest where he can gather wood under the cover of the initial towers. Burn that and you can keep him for gathering wood. It can also be used to get around walls, if you opponent used trees as part of their wall.
Don't have much to add too the loscust swarm discussion. I've only used it a few times, it did take out 8 farms and villies on one occasion (the one i can remember) If the game is really close, and you opponent is spending his food as fast as he can get it, this gp can be the extra bit that tips the scales. If you slow down his food production for a period of time, causing him to have to not only slow military production because of the slower rate of gathering food, but also spend some of his food to replace those villies, it could give you the edge you need to successfully assult his town.

Forest Fire has it's use if you want to slow down the production of toxotes/slingers. Keep in mind it also hurts the villies and buildings near the forest. So if he is slow to react then he might loose a few vils.

The AI handles locust swarm in the dumbest way possible...
I cast it and the second i do, he sends every military unit he has straight into it...
