If these things works for multiplayer games on the ESO it may start to become a problem. Not that rotating buildings is a cheat, but what else can be made if the files are not somehow protected. Now making large changes to the game core settings seem to be able to make games go out of sync or worse, but what about the little things like this and zoom. Actually, zoom is not a little thing and rotating buildings could be mighty irritating because it makes it a bit harder to identify what they are if the oponent places down the buildings in different orientation all the time.

I don't mind that people can do a lot of things for playing games at home, on a LAN or direct IP. But it would be nice of people were denied ESO games with edited gamefiles, no matter what or how little the edit was.

Why did ES leave the files so open? Was it to aid the mod-community or something? You'd think it would create more problems than anything else...

well, they are probably keeping it open so the mod community can do what they want... but only stupid people would be dumb enough to not test their mods and release them before testing them thoroughly...

Well... if you have a mouse wheel, make sure you are holding down Shift+Mouse Wheel... if it still don't work, you need a different mouse.

ES done that because it is easier for them to patch and well it's nice for us modders(I've made several mods so far since I got me alpha).

Please be aware that rotating buildings in game was left out for a good reason: there are performance and unit movement problems. Using this may cause any manner of subtle and not-so-subtle problems. Definitely avoid using this in multi-player unless you like really painfully slow games.

I used this on a 3v3 LAN game and had no performance issues whatsoever. At least, no more than normal. On a regular 3v3 or 4v4 LAN game, every machine I have is 900MHz or above, with 256MB RAM or above, and I still get Not Responding error messages about halfway through the game. Is this normal? I didn't have problems like this on AOK. I drool at the thought that AOM allows 12 people on a game, but not if it acts the way that it does (generally things get really slow too before it quits responding).

Anyone else have this problem?

hello everybody well i like the rotate option it kinda helps a bit like if you loose a villager or something BUT ONE BIG PROBLEM i dont know how to bloody operate the zoom its so irritating i see people talking about it in these forums but i just cant do it but 1 day i will have my revenge!! (mad laugh) ..........
