Take 1:
In the 5th (longest) E3 movie from the Japanese website, you can see the hero being attacked by the Cyclops and his army, and the hero summoned a meteror sdhower as his last hope(?). The meteors start destroying everything around, and a huge meteor hits the hero and all the units around him. A suicide spell? No, just like in a Superman movie, the hero gets out of the smoking ashes alive and clean, and the "bad guys" are dead.
Take 2:
Then the hero summons a lightning storm to kill some enemy infantry. Friendly spear throwers (men with red sheets) aproach. The lightnings kill most of the enemy units, but the hero and the spearthrowers are unharmed.
Take 3:
Another meteor shower destroys hits the enemy town, destroying everything (inc. trees), but the spearthrowers and the hero are unharmed.
The Last Knight
Grasshoppers are cheap, nutritious, tasety,Kosher and easy to dissect

I get the lightnings, but how can meteors be so selective? Are all the spells in AoM selective?
