Then norse players started whining about greeks. Greeks are overpowered? Some1 should remind those norse whiners that greeks need 3 military buildings to produce all their units. Each of these buildings costs 100 wood. Also greeks dont have counters on classical so their expensive general purpose units get owned by cheap norse/egyptian counter units.
Do you want to know why norse players are mainly whining about greeks? Cause their jarls lose to prodromos. Prodromos is the only unit that can barely beat jarls. Odin's jarls beat all camels during heroic/mythic, WITH OR WITHOUT UPGRADES. Loki/Thor jarls beat all camels except ra's ones.
To all norse whiners, GET BETTER. What can a greek guy do against a norse rush? NOTHING. No tower upgrade. No free houses to wall up early. No mercs. Each military building costs 100 wood and they need 9 of those just to counter the units that 3 longhouses can produce.
If your enemy greek has made 2 stables and 1 archery range then mass rcs. Hippikon needs 20 secs to get trained during classical and takes 3 population. The greek guy will have to make some hoplites. By the time he builds those barracks and start pumping hoplites the game will be over. And even if he manages to do that, you can then mass ulfsarks. Ulfsarks have 9 sec training time. And toxotes(15secs training time) that are produced from 1 archery range cant do crap against ulfsarks that are produced from 3 longhouses. He will have to make some more archery ranges. Well if you still cant beat him with him wasting over so many resources on making buildings, then its you who suck not your enemy that is overpowered.
To sum up, greeks are slightly underpowered and i feel pitty for any1 who complains that they are overpowered.
