Well, there are always gonna be people who are new to the game, the only thing you can do is give em a few games and point out their mistakes.
I am new to age of and lost some newbie games even in the beginning.Because i didn't knew my faults i didn't improve.
yet when i met a friend who was over 1700+,i got to play many games and faced my mistakes.
Now i can compete decently in forum games and i can even see mistakes of better players.
Next time ask if he can prove his skills, guys like that always wan't to prove their skills iven if they don't have them.
If he still refuses to play with another civ then let him run,you know that you are better.
Then watch the rec,see what you can improve and practice.

I was gonna go crazy until I read the second post. I thought you were being a cry baby till I read that. Anyone who has to use an exploit to win is a chump. My advice would be to play land maps until that problem is fixed. 1.05 will address that, so you won't have to wait to long.

So what if he used loki and beat you. Several of the top players use loki cause it loki they are best with. It like asking someone NOT to try their best. If you play against loki you know what to expect.

Anyone know of any recorded games where a 2000+ Thor has beat a 2000+ Loki?
