As easy of a concept as Raiding is, I don't seem to be able to do it effectively. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I mean vs weak opponents I can pull it off but opponents of my own level of skill just seem to be able to stop it. Could I not be advancing fast enough. I usually go classical around 5:30 or so. I build 3-4 rax and pump out RC. I go Freyja of course. My first 4-5 I send out to raid any villagers I find. I usually try to keep casualties to a minimum. Once I see army I run. I try to keep this up for a while but it never seems like I'm doing much to him. Maybe I'm letting my economy go down the drain while I'm raiding. Should I only raid certain civs on certain maps? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
By the way. My ESO: XT_deano3985. I'm around 1800 and I play Odin mostly. If anyone is willing to take time to play a few games with me to help me would be very helpful.
