I know the best way is to bring 8 or so RCs and trap the woodies in the trees and cast the GP to kill off the villes..but sometimes when i raid their hunters..i find a big forest near them..and my question is should i cast the gp at this time or should i wait to kill woodies?

Or for creating an opening to attack, it works best for people who walled their town off. They don't expect you to come from a different place than their walls. A forest on their left flank is quickly gone, and the raiders will do their job.

I agree with Stumpy. Gps generally are better used earlier than later. If you use forest fire early and manage to kill 2 or 3 woodies, that may be 50%+ of the total wood gathering ops. Later, it may be 10%, and repaired with no trouble.
Notable exceptions, though- ceasefire is often worth more later than early, as are Prosperity, Rain, maybe restoration, etc. Main thing is- think! And make sure those GPs are spent wisely.

ok..what do you guys when you are against Isis? ( for some reason i am facing alot of Isis players in the high 1690-1710s) i guess you wait till they finish up with their initial forest which is usually protected by monuments? also in general i guess what DO you do against Eggies since they don't need a lot of wood unless they are going heavy on slingers but against norse is kinda dumb imo cus RCs will slaughter them.
