Well, I'm not an Eggy specialist, but here goes some tips:
Most Eggy strats rely on a late classical advance (6:00). Then, with a powerful economy (through Prosperity, Rain, Pharaoh, Priest empowering, wtf...) they jump to heroic at 8:00 and pump out Migdol units (CA + Elephants or Camels). That's the feared FH.
As Ra or Set, you can stay and fight classical. That's because they have a favorable godpath for rax units (Ptah-Sekhmet-Horus, Anubis as Set sometimes). Isis has no favorable god for rax units besides Anubis so isn't very smart for her to fight classical.
I think your Ra BO is correct, with heavy focus on food and gold. But:
1) Do you spam priests for empowerment? They can boost your villies on 10%. Use them! They're the reason some expert Isis players are now going Ra.
2) Do you research Shaduf? ASAP? I would go with Shaduf+rain. Pumping out the first monument at classical gives to you that 10 favor you need to research this incredible tech.
3) I wouldn't use Wadjedts if I was you. Unless you have built all monuments at classical (that I really don't reccomend) you'll never have enough favor for a good number of them. Also they are VERY fragile, so keeping them alive can prove very diffcult to you. Also, you'll need a lot of favor to research Ptah's armory techs (specially those of the spearman and Axeman). Use Slingers as ranged support if needed or jump to heroic to either CA (with Bone bow) or Slingers again (this time, with slings of the sun).
4) I would only reccomend the rax godpath for Set. Ptah and sekhmet are useful for Ra. I stick with them. But trading the might of osiris and his camels/mummies/SoO/2nd Pharaoh for those Horus upgrades? I would answer: NO.
But, anyway, I'm not (say again) the better person for answering your question. Ask for Odin's strats and we may have a discussio, tough.
