Where the heck is my user.cfg and trigger.xml file? I have looked everyone in my aom folder and I just can't find them anywhere. Could it be because when I downloaded aom I chose express install? But doesn't the user.cfg file have to exist in my system in order for aom to run? I have even searched for it in my c drive (the same drive I installed aom into) but I still couldn't find them.

typetest.xml is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\triggers

user.cfg and/or user.con need to be created in your Age of Mythology\users directory. You can make a blank file in notepad, then save it in AoM\users as (and yes, include the quotes) "user.cfg". You can download a pre-made user.con in the Misc section of the downloads

Thanks I had no idea that the user.cfg or user.con file had to be created and I am very glad for reading that I can get one in the download section of this site. And I have found the triggers folder with the typetest file inside although the folder is just called trigger. Believe me, I swear that I don't also have a triggers folder. I have looked in there before but I just really thought that the file was called trigger.xml then.

Ok I can't find the user.con file in the downloads section. What is it called and what page is it on in the misc section? Or were you joking when you said that there was one in there?

You put the user files in the Start Up folder by the way.
