I am finishing up work on my newest map and will be testing it this evening/weekend. I have devised a method of counting kills using Norse favor gathering. It's not quite kills, but it works very nicely. It's based on the Change in rate of Favor gathering (delta - Acceleration if it were speed; Favoleration for AOM
). Here's how it works:Each players total favor gathered is saved in a variable.
After 15 seconds, the player's total favor gathered is read again.
The person who has gathered the most favor from fighting in that period wins a Level (upgrades and resources).
How does this sound? Any comments?
