You will see a file that says everything on how to make an RM, but I will warn you, its hard as hell

Wouldnt it be cool if someone made a tool that allowed toy to turn a scenario into a random map (provided it doesnt have any/many fancy triggers and what not) by simply changing the skin (you know...desert, forest etc) and moving around resources a bit...

On AOMH news there was a Random Map generator for download

>Was it in one of my visions
>Has everyone forgotten about it
>Am I turning crazy(don't say, I already am)
Or
>Was it bad and deleted from the download

Because I can't find it on the download anymore...

Nobody forces you to dowload the maps. The more tools included in the game the better.

It's lame to quote yourself - aom dude

Scenario -> RM = impossible thing
Try to modify an existing RM, it's easier than make a new one.

Are you trying to play the scenario multiplayer or single player the same way you play a random map? You can play normal scenarios in this way! For single player, press Single Player then Load Scenario, and for multiplayer, host an Advanced Setup or LAN/DirectIP game and under Game Type, where it says Supremacy, select Scenario.

For some reason this is usually what most people mean when they ask how to turn a scenario to a random map.

MapGen was an awesome idea, very well programmed, and easy to use, but I had trouble getting my maps into AOM.
