I would be grateful if you could tell me what cinematic blocks are and how to use them. I read about them in the Advanced Cinematics Guide and I'd love to try and make a cinematic like that but I don't know what cinematic blocks are. Thanks -Skycat

Next to all those options, you can also achieve beautiful effects with them. Try the scenario from the trident campaign (original AoM) where you unit the 3 osiris boxes. When Osiris is born, there's this beautiful lightning effect: A cross of Osiris lights up. Look in the scenario and you see lots of cinematic blocks, placed like this. _____________________ __________x_x________ _________x___x_______ __________x_x________ ______x____x____x____ _____x_x_x_x_x_x_x___ ______x____x____x____ ___________x_________ _____________________
Er, yeh something like that. And there's a trigger that makes them all CHANGE UNIT TYPE into something like 'osiris glow' or something, don't know the exact name. You should try it, it looks amazing.

Of course (the cinematic blocks are invisible), but they used "change unit type". This prevents "unit create" and the blocks can easily be moved in the editor. That's a big advantage and a reason why one should use "move to unit" more often than "move to point" (also those distance triggers have these two possibilities: To point or to unit).
Moreover, I use the cinematic blocks often to create a new unit or effect.
Conclusion : The blocks are easier to work with because they can be seen and moved in the editor, and often replace some unhandy trigger conditions or effects.
