Sorry for being stupid but I just wondered how to use the 'invoke god power' and the 'ai' triggers. It would improve my map making skills tenfold

This should be in the proper forum.

Their is a scenario and moddig forum just for these type of questions.

General Discussion is more about general gameplay.

Point 1. The things you are talking about are called effects. If you call them triggers, i'll always be angry at you.

Point 2. The AI-effect "AI func" is only usable if you use a custom AI-script. I don't think you need it.

Point 3. Invoke Godpower: Select 1 area if the godpower requires 1 area (pretty simple), like earthquake. Select 2 area's if the GP requires 2 (it's still easy), like Underworld Passage. Select a Source Unit if the GP requires a source unit (wow! is it simple or what?), like Bolt.
The player who invokes the godpower must actually have the godpower and must have LOS in the area (...where the source unit stands).

A condition is not a trigger.
An effect is not a trigger.
A trigger is a combination of one or more conditions and effects.
It causes effects to happen if and when conditions are met.
Period.

I thought this is the Scenario Design forum? Or has this topic moved?

Yeah Oddy gets a bit upset about that trigger/effects thing. Also if you make a kill counter, by God don't let Oddy find out you used more than one trigger...er effect.
