However, I was really suprised just how many sounds there were. Aside from the really great music soundtrack, there was another half-a-gig of phenomenal sound effects. There were the standard environment sounds; ambient birds , wind, thunder, rain, and so on... but about 5 times more of them than Here's a brief summary of the kinds of SFX available: battle melee, army collision clunks, thuds, and bangs, archers preparing, reloading, and firing, chariots rolling over grass, sand, and snow, death cries, battle cries, screams, flaming screams, That's just to name a few. A nutty amount of sounds, half of which are probably never heard or noticed. I've never heard one of my soldiers fart! All in all, though, a hugely valuable SFX resource for scenario design.
