I have been trying to figure this out for ages. When I played on of the online sims campaigns i notices that some of the buildings and guys had different names, health, and attacks. I have been trying to figure out how to change these stats for a long time and i would be very thankful if you could help me out a little.

Well, to change stats use the Modify protounit trigger and for names, the Change Name trigger. If you have vanilla, these won't be there.

Go to triggers, put in a trigger, select the modify protounit trigger, select the unit you want to modify, select what you want to modify, then change the number to how much you want to add(something like 10)or how much you want to minus from it(something like -10).

I'm not aggravated at all when I say read the guides first pls. I hope noone else will be aggravated when I say that experience shows that people who don't sit down to read the guides and instead ask for "private tutoring" ~i.e. make new threads to ask questions for any designing problem that pops up~ usually don't stick around and drop out after the first couple submissions of newbish scenarios.
Lord of Vampires, pls stick around and don't quit,
BUT READ THE GUIDES !!!

regards
