Hey,
The 2nd one, 2nd link, I guess??? there is a dwarf far behind the Huskarl, can barely see him, very little. So your trick works but here it's a way too much or it needs a special scenario such as: " The midget dwarf " or, even better, " The dwarf Dwarf ". Needs a lot of barking though.
The first one is almost perfect, I supposed your talking about the size of the boats ( and the cave walls? ) compared to your first plan, the hopplite? That really gives a much better feeling of depth. I know a little about that stuff 'cause that's part of my everyday. You know, real life... There is one thing I'm not really fond of, the too high quality of the image in AOM. It's kind of hard to think it's real. The back of your image, i. e. yours boats in that case should be smaller, you've done that, but also blurry, out of focus! Some smoke or anything foggy??? could really help. I watched recently some AOMmovies of some of the big design guys here, and I believe it's even better when the quality of the movie, because of the internet file size problem, is not " optimal ".
Thanks big way for your " Slingshot " tip, I'll use it. Not on a window, I meant, well you know...
Have sun!
