Also I advise that you get lots of water, food and get a comfy seat because I think I went a bit overboard with the length of this.
But if you wish you can skip all that and go down the bottom to see the campaign information.

First here is a I have been actively posting on Age of Mythology Heavengames for 164 days.., I know this doesn't compare to most of you but I aiming to do so for at least 164 more. And so what better time then now Basically Age of Mythology was a bit of a mystery to me, my friends had often talked about it however this was in the day when a Pentium 2 was a powerful computer Now I played Age of Empires the original, I liked it so much that a few weeks later I managed to get hold of the sequel, Age of Kings, and the expansion, the conquerors. Anyway mid 2005, the time of AoK began to wear off I got a new Celeron computer and began playing single player games including "Arcanum" and later "Rise of Nations" and "Empire Earth" But one eventful day my brother mentioned that his friend had a game called Age of Mythology, I immediately demanded that he let me borrow it and so that night I was up until 4:30 testing out this new game I deleted RoN and EE off my computer, thinking them as sacrilegious towards the genre that AoM represents. I had briefly visit AoK Heaven back in the day and so I knew of AoM Heaven, I downloaded just about every scenario I could get my hands on. After finding the expansion on an online shop, I bought it and asked began creating those oh so annoying threads all around the Scenario Design area of Heavengames. After a few questions were answered, I did some reseach; I soon stumbled across a design team; Dragon Today I search the Heavengames forum, looking for potential designers and then giving them the opportunity to join our ever-growing team. Enough about me let me show you what you came to hear about, my first Age of Mythology Project; ___________________________________________________________ This Campaign takes place over a hundred years and throughout 13 islands; the number of scenarios is still unknown however I do know that the first few scenarios will be entirely cinematic. As a player, you will gain control over many different characters as they play their part in the campaign. However there is a main character in which you will control through much of the land. The campaign is very focused on plot and storyline development, the battle scenes will be camera fixed and loaded with special effects and triggered battle events. I have done this to ensure that the campaign keeps a cinematic feel to it, even during gameplay. STORYLINE The storyline is much more complex then can possibly be explained here, therefore if you wish to know more you will have to download the campaign when it comes out The campaign begins with the introduction of a general (name yet to be decided), this general has fought under service of the mainland imperial, army since he were a mere lad. He is then promised the permission to head back to his homeland, after he has completed a final skirmish. So rather then return home to punishment, the general and his defeated soldiers steal an imperial scouting ship and set sail towards a new land.. This land is known as the Agneno Islands. PROGRESS As for progress, I have almost completed the first cinematic scenario; this introduces you to various characters including the main character It shows the events 18 years before the main character comes into play. SCREENSHOTS No doubt you skipped down to here after you got bored of the first 100 words On a few final notes I apologize about the lengthy post, I was in the mood and couldn't help myself Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my campaign when it is released. Any comments, ideas, questions, queries or insults please post below. I will reply as soon as possible... Some of you may vaguely remember my attempts at a designer Autobiography when I first visited the forums Fortunately I was soon told I would need more experience if I were to share the tale of my designing life.
(No offence to Pentium 2 owners)
I designed a few scenarios for AoK, mainly for use by my brother and I through our LAN connection. These were simple scenarios mainly us controlling a single unit each carrying out assassinations on certain enemy targets.
The next day I begged dad to go down the city to buy this marvelous game. And So to shut me up he did so.
I soon began to muck around with the editor, wondering if I too could create scenarios such as "Hammer of Thunder" and "Battle for Helm's Deep".

An article on this site caught my attention;
And well the rest is history
I then found someone worthy of helping me run the team, Titan602, of whom created a website and helped me with a forum for the team to use.
And so today there are several proud KDS Designers, I hope that one day we can have the same nuumbers as some of the other design teams.
OVERVIEW
During the last days of his military career, the general is promoted; he becomes a dictator, a magistrate appointed temporarily to deal with an immediate crisis or emergency.
He is sent to attack a republican outpost on imperial land However as he and his army lay siege upon the stronghold, the republicans and imperial sign a treaty, and because of his recent promotion the general is responsible for the attack on the republicans
Now I know thats a crap load to take in but all of this is explained thoughtout a multitude of scenarios, it makes much more sense and is not a complicated if it is all explained during a cinematic.
The beginning of the general's story.
If you don't understand what I mean then read up some more on the storyline, the campaign has a lot of flashback moments, but I am ensuring that this doesn't astray from the main focus.
THAT'S ABOUT IT
