I understand what you are saying, but I just think its more complicated that that.
Here is an example of what I wish to accomplish:
Say Player 1 has 5 units, and 3 food. After 1 minute, each of those 5 units will take 1 food. Unfortunately, due to Player 1 having only 3 food, I would like 50 gold to be deducted as well (25 per unit X 2).
The next minute, Player 1 now has 7 units, and 3 food. Now, I would like 3 food to be deducted and 100 gold (25 per unit X 4).
As you can see, running the gold per unit trigger along side of the food one, or even afterward, would result in the deduction of excess gold (125 in the first example, and 175 in the second)in addition to the subtraction of food. Disabling the food trigger would also result in this outcome.
