Does anybody know how to reduce the gather rates of villagers?
I think this could be useful..
and if there is no effect for it, could somebody potentially make one?

im not sure if these ideas work but you can do:
modify proto unit:
carry capacity = food,wood,gold >> a negative amount
or
rate contruction >> a negative amount (but this trigger effects building rates also, so i guess if you do this trigger then you wud have to add modify protounit = build points >> pick the building(s) that you know will be used
then again im not sure if they will work, just an idea

I think Joka means rate gathering 0.1.
But there is no trigger (yet) for a slower gathering rate per player.

decrease the carry capacity. then aslong as they dont have atlantian villies you should have slower gavering. Thats the only way at the moment, unless Nottud says "well i have this method i've not told anyone about" which he does do alot of the time!

Perhaps by using XS Globals you can type a code for a new gather rate, but i dont thing XS Globals effect units, just triggers.
Aww, can't use images here, guess I'll have to use some random text stuff. Uhh... How about "You're too slow!" ~Sonic or, umm... IT'S OVER 9000!! ~Click here if I've beaten you in Brawl~

Darkdude, that would just increase the gather rate by a ton. He is trying to reduce the gather rate.

My advice is what joka said - reduce all rates and it should slow gather rates.

That didn't really make much sense there. Globals are just names you assign to values, like cat=1, cat =2. They don't "do" anything.
You can use kb commands to create an effect that reduces a player's resources everytime a certain unit gathers some resources though...
If that is all globals do, why don't you just use xs user code to do it instead?
