Hi there

Im making a 2 player scenario.. And I have a problem

Im setting up a relic. And when you collect it and put it in a temple, you get a godpower.. BUT
The problem is that we are playing 2 people.. And how do I make it as its the one who collect it, who get the godpower?

Now I have to make them as player 1 get some speciel relics on he's side, and player 2 get som relics on he's side.

Its not good if player one put a relic in a temple if player 2 get the godpower..

Arrrrggghhhh.

Can they garisson the relics in any temple they want, or just one specific special temple?

Because if there's only one temple that they can garisson them in, you could just put triggers for all the relics that when they are garissoned in player 1's temple, player 1 gets a god power, BUT if player 2 garissons the relic, player 2 gets the godpower.

Example triggers used for one relic:
Trigger: ONE
Condition: When the relic is garissonned in Player 1's temple
Effect: Player 1 gets a god power

Trigger: TWO
Condition: When the relic is garissonned in Player 2's temple
Effect: Player 2 gets a god power

This way a relic can be garissoned in either player's temple and grant a god power to the owner of the temple.

You may also want to add the effect Disable trigger to both of the triggers for one relic, to disable the other trigger - so that if player 1 takes the relic from player 2 after he has already recieved the god power, player 1 cannot get a godpower from that relic.

1. Perfection is impossible.
2. Nothing is impossible.
3. There are always exceptions.

Hi there

Thanks for the answer...

I want it to be like this:

Any player can build a temple and garisson the relics in any temple they want

And not in any speciel temple...

So IF player 1 take a relic wich gives player 2 powers - nothing should happen. But if player 2 takes it, he should have a power (or something else)

But I dont know how to do that...

Try unit count.. that may work

Condition:
Player Unit Count >= 1 "Relic"

Effect:
Grant god power

Do I understand correctly that you want it so a specific relic will give a godpower to one player but not the other? For example Relic1 will give Player 1 a god power but not to Player 2, whereas Relic2 will give Player 2 a godpower but not Player 1.

If you create a trigger like this for each relic it will only grant a godpower once and only for the specified player when it is garrisoned in a temple owned by that player.

Trigger - Player1_Relic
[X] Active
[_] Loop
[_] Run Immediately
Priority = High

Conditions
Unit Is Garrisoned In
Source Unit = Relic(Player1)
Container Type = Temple

Units Owned
Player = 1
Source Unit = Relic(Player1)

Effects
Grant Godpower
Player = 1
Godpower = Bolt
Uses = 1

Hi all

The thing I would like is:

One relic on the map witch give a godpower to the player who garrison it first in any temple the player have..

Then it would be fun to see who is the fastest in the game..

IF player 1 gets it and garrison in he's temple, ONLY he would get the power.
IF player 2 gets it and garrison in he's temple, ONLY he would get the power.

Disable Trigger (Trigger_2)

Trigger_2

Effect: Grant God Power (Player 2, The power you like)

Unit Owned isn't enough by itself since a relic is considered owned when a hero picks it up, so you'll need to include the Unit Is Garrisoned In condition unless of course you want to grant the godpower when the player picks up the relic, not when it's garrisoned in a temple.

Trigger - Player1_Relic
[X] Active
[_] Loop
[_] Run Immediately
Priority = High

Conditions
Unit Is Garrisoned In
Source Unit = Relic
Container Type = Temple

Units Owned
Player = 1
Source Unit = Relic

Effects
Grant Godpower
Player = 1
Godpower = Bolt
Uses = 1

Disable Trigger
Trigger = Player2_Relic

Trigger - Player2_Relic
[X] Active
[_] Loop
[_] Run Immediately
Priority = High

Conditions
Unit Is Garrisoned In
Source Unit = Relic
Container Type = Temple

Units Owned
Player = 2
Source Unit = Relic

Effects
Grant Godpower
Player = 2
Godpower = Bolt
Uses = 1

Disable Trigger
Trigger = Player1_Relic

Hi lostrozzacavalli

Okay... When you write:

Condition: Unit Owned (Relic, Player 1)
Condition: Unit Owned (Relic, Player 2)

Should I pick the same Relic?

There should be ONE relic on the map..
AND the one who finds it and garrison it in he's OWN temple (anyone he has made) - will get a godpower...

Should I pick the same Relic?
Yes, the same relic for both.

Using both the Unit Owned and Unit Garrisoned In conditions will make sure the trigger only fires when the Relic is garrisoned in a Temple (any temple built/placed) owned by the specified player.
