ok well i suppose im gonna have to post-pone the release date so i can replace most of the triggers with mp triggs
probably friday the latest.
And as for the multiple kill glitch nottud stated....it wasnt really a glitch, its just the elephants bounce sometimes when they are thrown and each bounce kills the unit.....i actually like it this way
but theres 2 ways i can go about changing this....i can either make it a random area respawn or a 3 second grace period where the cyclops cant be damaged after losing a life.....mmm i think grace period would be better
however, some players like it with multi kills so i guess i can add an option where the host can choose multi kills or grace period
i also had a little chat with shuch_ya_mouf last night on adding random events, such as:
- an extra life
- low los for 15 seconds
- no speed for 5 seconds
- invincibility for 8 seconds(more speed, more hp)
- an archer that deploys with a short life span(enough to get off about 2 shots) <
< im still a little iffy about adding this one
if any of you have any random event ideas, im open ears :)
Edit: im also trying to figure out a way where the cyclops doesnt throw toward near by elephants...i thought i had it by making the cyclops los zero(because the revealers are the main source of los on the map) doing it this way will make the cyclops throw the elephant in which ever direction the cyclops is facing(which is good) but for some odd reason, the elephant wont damage the enemy cyclops if the cyclops have no los.....anyone got any ideas on how i can get this to work? thanks in advance :)[This message has been edited by Joka_003 (edited 01-26-2010 @ 03:05 PM).]
