Well, my campaign is proceeding apace, i suppose. For those of you that don't know(all of you), I'm making a full campaign, in the style of the original ones. Kind of. Meaning that I'm only using the base editor and the base triggers. Whatever. Point is, I was working on a map, and I have a battle cinematic in the middle. I've already worked it out, the armies move closer, the camera zooms in and out, cinematic mode turns off as soon as the last one dies(its on a timer, that was a lucky guess as to how long the battle would take). My question is whether or not this would be acceptable in a campaign. It is two NPC armies, so it doesn't really affect you as the player, but I dunno, I can imagine people not wanting to be interrupted by a cinematic...
There is another one where a giant army is brought to a reasonable size by Meteor, but that is a cinematic for the sake of playability, as the army before the meteor hit would be practically invincible.
So, is it a good idea? It sure LOOKS awesome...
My Grandmother once told me; if you ever want to make something of yourself, just give up now, because you're a retard.
