Ooohhhh! Someone... made a map! A scen!
But perhaps one day, in a future far, far away, I may have the motivation and dedication to create AND finish a scenario.Time passes a little fast, don't you think? Whatnever, I'm very happy to see you working on something; don't worry if it's not downloaded, I'll dl and refresh as much as needed Mini-scens? **** *** ******, *****, I'm making a 2MB scen, and you're with mini scens? Oh, sorry, I forgot about your munchosus hieroglyphic triggers, that should make some (many) epic scens. Like a serial Remains only the eyecandy(me don't get a thing from the screenshot). Keep up the work! Nickonhawk, No comma that's all, ..., , . Skyrim... the greatest game ever... without considering Age of Mythology, of course! Ctrl...Alt...Q... and Brisingr-know these three things and your task here is accomplished...

Hehe, I was talking about a large (~700x700 meters) RPG scenario back then. I have learned from experience that I will never finish such large projects because there's just an overwhelming amount of space to work on and it will take ages to finish it (e.g. iirc bravesword took ~2 years to finish). Mini scenarios, however, are a whole different story. You could design the whole map in a few days instead of a couple of months, and then you can spend a crazy amount of time on the triggers. Take my prologue as an example: it is 200x200 meters and is only 4 minutes long and it has about 90 triggers (it could have been more, but I didn't want to go overkill), and some of them are really packed with effects. If I had to make a intro cinematic on a large scenario - and I really hate to make cinematics - , I would have saved it for last and then spend about an hour or less to create a very basic cinematic so that my scenario is finally finished and ready to be uploaded.
To summarize: - I don't like to create cinematics; - I don't like to design the terrain or any other form of eyecandy; - I love to trigger gameplay elements and especially boss fights Oh, sorry, I forgot about your munchosus hieroglyphic triggers, that should make some (many) epic scens.Exactly, that's my ultimate goal (mediocre eyecandy, but very high quality triggers). Like a serialI'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean serial as in scenario series? Remains only the eyecandy(me don't get a thing from the screenshot). Keep up the work!As I said earlier in my post, the main focus will be on the gameplay triggers and not the eyecandy. This doesn't mean the eyecandy will be horrible, but it will be around average. Yeah, the screenshot is dark and mysterious as intended. It's a little preview of what you can expect from the eyecandy. And yes, I will keep working on this as promised. I have uploaded the prologue a few days ago, so it will hopefully be available for download soon. And thanks for the kind comment eurotool. What are the key ingredients to make a popular RPG? Lewo, that serial is part from my bad english; I meant a continue story divided into chapters, or mini-scens!
You don't like to make cins, Zeno...? (Well, that's why it took a year to make Danmaku.) Oh, what the heII are those guys doing? Looking at triggers?! I wan to watch the prologue! The prologue has been updated: I have started working on Chapter Two. The storyline is done and the battle mechanics are done. The map design and a great deal of other gameplay related triggers still have to be made (I have drawn a sketch of the map design on paper though, so the map design hopefully shouldn't take too long to make). Nice work on the prologue. I like use of Hail's circle triggers to make the custom effects. I also like how you narrated the story. It sets up intrigue and mystery and makes you want to move forward to see how it can make sense.

Motivation isn't the problem. I kind of underestimated the amount of time I need to spend on my study. I simply haven't had any time whatsoever to work on the next scenario and I'm afraid I have to postpone it for several more weeks until my next holiday (the prologue was also created in one of my holidays).
Sorry, I shouldn't have announced this campaign so early. The timing couldn't have been worse. *sigh* What are the key ingredients to make a popular RPG?
