I have some limited experience editing maps in Warcraft 3 and CnC:Tiberium Wars, but the AoM editor is quite different.
Through the editor i made a new 3vs3 map using a random map seed (mediterranean i think), and made some minor changes that suit my single player style.
However when i try playing that map i do not get the "choose your god" and "customize your opponents" menu that regular random maps have.
Instead i just instantly begin the scenario with the major gods being the ones that were saved in the editor.
1. Is there any way to make players/AI on the map have a "random" god, instead of actually having to select a specific god?
2. Is there a way to make my scenario show the regular "choose your god" and "customize your opponents" menu screen?
3. Is there any way to make a Gold Mine have 99999 gold, and to make trees take much longer to "die" so they can be harvested for a long time?
4. If the AoM developers release a balance patch (including new units), will it automatically apply to my custom Scenario?
If not, how do i apply all the balance changes (and new units) from a patch to my custom Scenario?
It would be great if i could normally (in-game) choose what god i want to play and against which gods, instead of having to open the Editor and change the gods manually every time i want to play differently.
