Hmmm...think it's stuff like copy/paste(Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V)...
Though hotkeys are always 10 times better than manually going to the menu.

True, even if it is quick save or load, you can instantly save without having to take a moment to load the menu. This way you could save as an after thought and more often.
With the beautify feature, and being able to create lots of bumpy terrain it wont take as long to create a nice looking map. (Even though I think i'd rather do it the old fashioned way)

It just means theres going to be hotkeys.
There was hotkeys in AOK, pressing 1-8 sets the player, 0 sets it to GAIA, press a key when on the units menu will jump to the first unit starting with that letter, there were a few more as well.

Just imagine, had I know that, my work in SWGB might have been a little easier .
Notice the underlined letters. Alt > e > a brings up the paint terrain dialog for instance.
Same as any windows program.
There'll probably be instant hotkeys for more common things too - Ctrl+s = save, for instance.

Hotkeys will make the creation process move along faster, and TSD, your image isn't working

Accidently used img tag instead of url. Fixed it.

Amazing, now I can zip through terrain design but still retain the good parts of it
That editor looks a lot like Microsoft Office products..No doubt we're going to be able to use common things like Save, paste..and use alt + first-name-of-menu to go there..
