I wonder if Age of Mythology will allow us to take elevation information from sites like National Geophysical Data Center, http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/se...seg/topo/subset (NGDC) or The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/mgg/global/seltopo.html . This was one of the most innovative ideas in the Empire Earth editor and I hope ES will follow suit add this ability to the Age of Mythology editor. I guess I really do not have to inform people on how useful this feature would be as it is pretty easy to figure out why it would be useful.
People are still going to want to make geographically accurate maps. Just because this game is based on mythology and fantasy doesn't mean that people will not want to use real world settings. I can guarantee you that someone will want to make a world map for some classic multiplayer World Map - Diplomacy Style.
