thats 1300x1300 tiles and has "blackness" as the water terrain.

I have very little RMS skillage and making a template of a large map was hard enough for me, but i'm totally stumped on the water part now.

I'd greatly appreciate if someone would just make an RM script like that for me so i could use it as a template for my map. See, it would take forever to paint a whole map with water, so thats why i need a template. Then i can just terrain copy and paste "stuff" into it and resume working on the "thing" i'm working on.
I'll give you credit in whatever it is that i'm remodelling

Just make that for me and i can edit bits and peices if i'm not satisfied.

No no, the terrain under the water being Black (no terrain). I don't want sand or ice or any of those that come with the given sea sets. It causes problems you see with shorelines other things that i look at with alot of attention.

If you're still confused just go on and make the watertype be meditteranean

If you go download AzN's perfect circle template and cut out the area generation part, it just creates lots of blank land

    Okay, here's what to do:
    1) Go to the RM folder under Age of Mythology
    2) Create a new text file and name it BlankWater.xml (make sure the extension is .xml, not .txt)
    3) Open it with Notepad, paste the following lines into it and save:
    <?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>
    <mapinfo details = "" imagepath = "" displayName="BlankWater" cannotReplace=""/>

    4) Create a new text file and name it BlankWater.xs (make sure the extension is .xs, not .txt)
    5) Open it with Notepad, paste the following lines into it and save:
    void main(void)
    {
    rmSetMapSize(1300, 1300);
    rmSetSeaLevel(0.0);
    rmSetSeaType("Mediterranean Sea");
    rmTerrainInitialize("water");
    }

    6) Open the editor, go to File | New, and select BlankWater from the list, then generate the map. Presto!

    Tell me if you have any problems.

    Hmmm, there is already a water map template in the
    Blank Maps and there is a black! undersea.

    Quoted from Matei:

    rmSetMapSize(meters,meters) not tiles!!!
    The maximum you can insert is 2048 meters!

    So you just have to edit the line in the *.xs file with
    rmSetMapSize(2048,2048);

    Yes good point if you want 1300x1300 tiles you'll actually have to do 650x650. I assumed you wanted meters but called them tiles because in the editor the largest map you can make is 400x400 metres.

    1 tile = 2 meters
