Is there any way to get ris of the ulfsarks cape? I couldnt find it in the anim file so I decided to make is texture invisible. So I painted is invisisble but it didnt disappear, instead it's shield disappeared, when I re-textured the cape, the shield merely reappeared and nothing has happened to the cape?
So do you know how I can get rid of its cape? Or is it part of the head?
Well, ignore the bit bout the shield disappearing, that was just because ulfies never have shields in archaic age. But the cape is strange, it doesnt change how I want it to.
Somewhere around the moddin forum theres a topic about capes and if i remember it tells you how to get rid of capes! hope that helps.

Capes are part of the model and can only be removed by deleting it off the model file. Which means you have to edit it in 3ds max. But sometimes removing them can cause textures on that model to be displayed in the wrong places.

OK, I assumed so. But when I tryed to change its textures, I make it invisible with the "see-through" brush on php7 which makes the background shown, and it came up the same as the back as if it worked. But when that looked really bad because the cape was really visible I tried to re-do the cape with brown or whatever to make it look like a cape again. But it didn't work. Does any1 know why?
If you look closely at the head texture of the ulfsark, I think you'll see that the cape is in there too. I don't think we made a seperate texture just for the cape of the ulfsark.
It would be impossible to 'add' a cape to any units for the reason that King mentioned. The geometry is part of the body model.
You can REMOVE capes though by simply making the alpha channel for that area of that particular texture completely transparent (black). You may run into some issue with color transform though since color transformation is also defined by the alpha channel.

Oh yeah forgot about that, never tired it but it should work.
