You can make terrains with the AoMed 0.6b:
1. make a *.BMP from a *.ddt file, open the bitmap and paint all things, that you want, but do not change the size, and save as YOUR NAME.bmp
2. Convert the bmp back to ddt with the noticed format.
3. Register the terrain name in the terraintypes.xml in the textures/terrain folder, similarly to the existing.
4. Then You can place Your terrain on a map. But without the "New" terraintypes.xml nobody can see Your terrain in a scenario.

@scorpion: You must extract the textures.bar. Then is in the terrains folder the terraintypes.xmb and the terrainerosion.xmb (or similar).

O.K., but You need not convert xmb to xml. The xml will work at the first file. So You can change and save it without converting to xmb. The xmb is written of AoM.
