Ok, I was going to reply on an old thread so as not to do this, but it expired. So please forgive me.
Now that you've done that, off we go:
While playtesting a level of mine I encounter the same problem: the opposing AI won't move. At least not his peasants. I have two AI allied with me who move. They do everything. wonderful But our opponent won't move his peasants; he'll taunt us, move into another age, move his little fishing boats and oracles. Now, obviously I need to do some scripting; the AOM ones won't work for me (unless there's something simple I haven't found). Now, I tried to read the Captain's tutorial, but I'm no connesieur (misspelled) of my computer.
So: how do I create a user.cfg file? Same for user.con file. Where do I throw in the AiDebug and junk?
And my editor is in the game itself. I have no visual studio, etc. I just turn on the game and go to editor and I'm there. Anything special for that?
Second, for my problems, do I even need to go through all of this? (it would be godsend if not)
Third, my version is from a burned copy. Don't berate me, just don't answer the question if that's some kind of heresy. But I suspect others of the same. So no howling hypocrites please. The fact that it's burned, would that hinder me from my dream of becoming the best mapper ever in the history of AOM and Titan's?
Thanks for your time all.

"Right, I'll give it a shot."
