Topic Subject:Adding contact points and others...?

Can someone explain to me (if it's been discovered) how to add a contact point onto a model? I'm trying to add one to the hoplite's left hip, so that he can look like he's carrying a sword in addition to the spear?
In addition, I'm trying to add the myrmidon's cape to the hoplite, but have no clue as to how. I know I'm going to have to change the texture as well, but not knowing a thing about how to work GMax, I'm kind of stuck before I can even get there.
Is there someone out there patient enough to help a noob? Sorry to have offended anyone.

You definitely can't add/edit attachpoints, sorry ...
As for gmax... Well, you should do easier things first . We have some good guides here.

You could try to change the position of the (sword) model and attach it to another attachpoint. And since when do myrmidons have capes? I think you mean hypspist?

Note that you don't need GMAX to change the texture, at least for easy changes.
