Im much closer , But Im doing something wrong , Stephen Caines already tryed to help but I still cant get it
Anyway I have a new unite based on Gaia , now I want to add new sounds to my new unite Isis , so I copyed Gaia's original sound.xml , titan gaia_snds.xml and changed it to titan isis_snds.xml , I used aomed to make the .xmb file and put both in the sounds folder . I then took my new sounds and changed the name to replace gaia's original sound .wav files
That gave my new unite the sounds I want . but also changed Gaia's sound , I dont want that.
So I tryed opening titan isis_snds.xml and changing the word Gaia to Isis every place I saw it , Then I changed all the new .wav file the same way , but it dident work
Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong

You need to add your new sounds as new soundsets.
The following syntax won't be right (I'm too lazy to check) but in the soundset file you would need to define:
<soundset>titan gaia sound A filename = gaiasound.wav file
<soundset>titan isis sound A filename = isissound.wav file
in titan gaia_snds you point to titan gaia sound A and in titan isis_snds you point to titan isis sound A
Basically just do what you did last time but add rather than edit a soundset.

This is Gaia's original sound.xml.I dont see file name in it . sorry to be a pain but im still having trouble grasping what you mean
Gaia's _snd definition points to some generic soundsets and some specific gaia ones which are defined in a file called soundsets-xpack.xml as references to individual .wav files.
If you want to have a specific sound for a new Titan Isis unit:
1.Make a file titan isis_snds(you appear to have done this)
2.Change all Gaia's to Isis's(you appear to have done this)
3.Create the new soundset definitions in the soundsets-xpack.xml file for the required new soundsets: IsisSelect, IsisGrunt, IsisAttack, IsisDie and IsisAcknowledge
(you don't appear to have done this!)
These will have the format <soundset maxnum="3" name="IsisSelect" volume="0.8500"> <sound filename="isisselect1.wav" volume="1.0000"></sound> <sound filename="isisselect2.wav" volume="0.8000"></sound> <sound filename="isisselect3.wav" volume="1.0000"></sound> </soundset>
etc.
note: if you only have one sound file just delete the unwanted lines.
4. Convert the new .xmls to .xmbs and place both .xml and .xmb files in the \sounds folder along with your new .wav files.
Hope this helps.
