How do I set tech status in a RMS Script? I am trying to set Omniscience to everyone right off the start of the game. OR is it possible to be able to see the whole map? Could someone please explain how or provide the code? Thanks.

I am not sure that you can set a trigger directly from an RM. I think it needs to be indirect (like with the AI).

In AI the easiest approach is to set a zero cost tech in the techtreex and research it. In RM, I think you need to define a new Trigger (basically a prefined scenario trigger)and then activate it. Or use the various RM Trigger commands to create the trigger within the RM.

The aom random map help file (Section 8. Triggers)is probably a good place to start, along with a great Trigger mod that came out in the early days of AoM, that I can't remember. If you search the mods or utilities d/l pages it won't be too hard to find.

The techs are coded as numbers. Simply put the id number for the tech you want!
