I have a question to ask those of you who know alot more about modding this game than I do.
Where does AOM/TT store the variable which tells it how many little Prometheans to respawn once the big one dies? Or how many militia respawns once a building of Poseidon is destroyed?
Also does anyone know how to group freeze something without using the godpower or triggers?
Thanks

It's the SuperDeathReplacement flag, which appears to be hard-coded for 3(?). Just set this flag and define a DeathReplacement unit and it will spawn (three) on death.
You may also be able to use PartisanType and PartisanCount. I thought the standard game used these for Greek buildings, only because these are the ones with these parameters set (but it may be Poseidon only - I don't actually play the game much). They may work anywhere, but if not let me know, and I will look into it a bit further. It may be possible to allow this for all civs. I am sure I used them on an earlier LOTR civ that was based on Loki (and used elven swordsman instead of militia). Anyway just set the earlier parameters and see - atm, I can't see why it wouldn't work on units as well as buildings.
Group Freeze may be an issue because I can't recall a GP that effects the enemy. The alternative would be a time acceleration GP (look at flaming weapons etc.) that gives the player with the power a 1000% (10x) increase in MaxVelocity for a minute of so. Their units would then zip all over the place (a great way of countering unexpected attacts).
Though having just looked at the flaming weapons GP, PowerPlayerRelation = Enemy, with a Tech FreezeUnitsActive that sets MaxVelocity All to ZERO, may work. Never noticed this before but it could have potential.
P.S. Good post! Who said AoM is dead? What we lack in artwork we more than make up in originality!

Thanks for that, interesting post. If you can develop your "potential" then I'd be very interested in what you did.

^^ Bummer, I was hoping you would try it for me. If not, give me a few days.
