Hi,

I have been experimenting with Blender, and I just realized that it's is impossible to export my 3D Aom creations, from blender. I just didn't understand how I use the 3dx script, and since it's so old, I am not even sure if that would work with the Extended edition, and I have no idea if I need to create a material, or how I can create one.

I was working on the Gaia Wonder, I removed the arched gates, around the fountain, and I am hoping to use that fountain as an eyecandy unit.

I don't have access to 3d max, so I can't really use that.

Any help is appreciated.

Sadly you are pretty much boned, you either have to use 3ds or Gmax to do any modelling work.

Emerjr was or is working on a Blender plugin, but IIRC it's still heavy WIP and unfinished.

Hmm, that's really sad. Is there anyone, who is kind enough to convert existing 3D models to brg files out there?
I can open the files in blender, and I can export them as 3ds files, but that's it.

And I would also love to change the texture of the trojan lighthouse unit, but I have no idea how to open or export the btx files. [I am planning to use the Odin's Tower texture, to make the Lighthouse more nordic] As long as I have the texture I can trace over it.

My UMC Alpha Units contains the trojan lighthouse texture, tho I am unsure whether or not the texture is a TGA or DDT

I checked that file, it's in btx format. I am don't know how to open or convert those.
