BugsGeneral
The Date Ranked comes up as "Unknown Error". When you try to look at the date a game was played it also comes up as "Unknown Error." (Possibly only Win ME Bug)
You can see when another player completes construction on on a town center on the map even if it's not in LOS of any of your units (ie: it will change from white to enemy team color). Make it so that if a town center has been built you won't see it until you get a unit within LOS of it. If it's inside Fog of War it will always look the same regardless of if it's been recently occupied or vacated.
You can check if someone is currently building on an open town center by trying to build one there yourself (it won't let you target if someone's already constructing). This allows people to snoop town centers and raid the villagers every time they start constructing, in the hopes of costing the enemy 300g, 300w. Make it so that you can't attempt to build a town center until your unit is in LOS of it (ie: you can march your villagers over to an unoccupied town center, but can't choose to build on it until it's within LOS of them).
someone mentioned that if you try to build on an open towncentre, and someone else is too, it won't let you (allowing you to check if someone is building on it). A related bug would be that you can also just select the settlement, and if it's being built on, you'll see the health bar. Related to that is also that if a building is out of your los, you can still select it and check the health of it. Same deal with upgrades (town centre->fortified towncentre. Dunno about other upgrades).
on mediteranean there is a problem with fishing. it doesnt happen every time but when it does it can ruin the game for you. sometimes the fishing ship will gather the full load of food and go back to the dock, and it will just sit next to the dock, and if you tell the fishing ship to go to another fish, the little float is still on the original fishing spot so you cant go back. the only solution i can find is to delete the dock and build it at another spot because even if u delete the first fishing ship if you send anotherone to the same fish the same thing will happen again.
I dont know if this is a bug but the problem concerning the Ati Radeon 9700 whi seems to crash or hang. Is this a bug ?? Or should it be ATI who have to fix there driver s?
Health Bars/stats of animals in that are in the fog of war are also displayed (not sure about gold mines or trees). This allows people to scout in areas outside of their LOS to find hunting parties or converted animals by just clicking on them.

it hasn't worked since 1.05 got downloaded on my comptuer, i just keep forgetting to post it.
sometimes after destroying a half-constructed building or casting GPs on certain places (pestilence on farms, meteor on a town) you will gain permanent LOS of that area. Possibly only a bug on The Unknown.
New: (My comp is AMD Athlon 1.2, my Video Card is Inno 3d Tornado GEForce 2 MX 400, I have 512 MB of RAM)
I downloaded the latest driver version (never upgraded before), and installed DirectX 9a. After that AoM randomly crashes, with no reason, and sometimes rebooted my computer.
All my other games were better than ever with the upgrade, but AoM stopped working. Is there any incompability?
New: When playing a Random Map Single Player game, the difficulty may switch too Easy even if that is not what you have chosen. This Espescially happens with Greeks or when playing vs. Titan (that last part is only based on personal experience).
New: on single-player games with the comp, if you research Omniscience, save the game, and reload it, you will lose Omniscience, and you cannot re-research it.
New: Any unit with a special attack has its special attack meter go down to zero no matter what after being garissoned.
New: When I put an army to Stand Ground, they do nothing when being attacked at close range (unless you control them).

The simple fix is to add some brackets for the first condition.

Recorded Games
Whenever you watch a recorded game it is Ghost Lake in the preview, no matter what. Also, if you are wacthing a recorded game verses the copmuter it never returns the opponent's correct name. (Possibly only Win ME Bug)
Finally, if you accidentally click a resource while watching a recorded game, everything freezes. (Possibly only Win ME Bug)

Multiplayer
"Out Of Sync" error to occur when Tornado is used. So far it happened to me in a multiplayer game postpatch 1.06. It happened twice in a quicksetup match 1v1 before the earliest patches (although they might have fixed it). I am not using an AMD Athlon as that may be the problem. Though it happened to me only once, better to test it still.
a player dropped from a Multiplayer game results in game lock-up. This happened post patch 1.06. It was a 3v3 match (I wasnt the only one locked, all the other players in the game were too).
When selecting random teams, the players aren't exactly sorted into teams randomly. 90% of the time (approximately), in a 3v3 game (for example), players occupying slots 1,3,5 will be paired together and players occupying slots 2,4,6 will be paired together.
Greece
Adding an extra villager on praying reduces the overall rate at which favor is recieved, for 2 vils for normal Greeks and 3 vils for Zeus.
you can garrison sentinels, which means you can move them using siege towers or helepolis.
New: A small graphics bug: Most naval MUs simply disappear after being stoned by a Medusa or Perseus.
Norse
Frost
SoO doesn't get frozen but gains the bonus armour.
Set animals aren't frozen.
Builders are frozen, but continue building (after they've finished building, they're frozen. Or actually, I'm not totally sure how they are affected after they've finished building, since I've always found my builders to be blocked after they've finished...)
If a player rings the town bell when his villagers have been Frosted, they immediately get garisoned into the nearest towers or the TC. If he rings it again to send them back to work, they come out unfrosted and can keep do whatever they want. This pretty much defeats the use of Frost as an economy-stopper, but either (a) this is a design feature, in which case you should simply make villies not get frosted so players don't have to play around and discover the town bell's effect, or (b) this is an unintended effect.
When you cast frost on a bunch of units they lose colour as do all units of the same type.
The same thing happens to bronze, but lasts only during the duration of the GP.
Sometimes they regain colour when they're moving or vice-versa.
Ok, heres one...If frost is cast on an army that has had bronze put on it, and then, bronze power runs out first, followed by the frost power..They still have bronze armor when they come out...
If a Kraken uses its special on a Leviathan, the Leviathan simply dissapears (no animation exists for this case I guess).
If a Frost Giant tries to freeze a Petsuchos (laser crocodile), the latter continues to look unfrozen but spins around weirdly and cannot attack.
When a loki player casts spy on a hero who has a relic and the hero drops the relic in the temple, the LOS of the godpower stays with the relic instead of the hero. I'm not sure if this happens all the time.
New: Thor Nomad bug: As soon as you complete your TC, you automatically get a couple of dwarves, a third ulf and an oxcart.
New: Sometimes when Ragnarok is cast, the Ragnarok Heroes stand around doing nothing when they are being attacked of enemy is nearby. No, they are not standing ground.
New: If a player moves a kraken while it is using it's special attack on a land unit, the unit will be submerged underwater and the kraken's special attack will not be reset. The submerged unit cannot move and still takes up pop slots.Egypt
This is not exactly a bug, but it is an inaccuracy in the game: on the text of crocodile of set it says that the nile crocodile is the largest living reptile, this is not true, the saltwater crocodile (native to australia, i think) is.
New: on the god info/units list (i think f2), Set's Midgol is listed as 400 gold, when it should be 300.
New: During a game vs. Isis, I destroyed am opponent's monument. The graphic for the monument still appeared, yet it was not on the mini-map, my units could pass through it and they could not attack it. Thing is...It still blocked GP's from being cast. There were no other monuments. All of them were destroyed.
New: During If a Egyptian player casts Citadel on a Norse TC, the Norse player can build 1 more TC no matter what age he is in. The computer must think the Norse has lost his TC so it let's him build one more TC. Leading to 2 TC's in Classical.
Water
Fishing boats sometime stay IDLE next to the dock (even if they are rallied to a fishing spot), although no IDLE banner appears. You have to manually move them to fishing spots.
New: When you use the "a" hotkey for the arrow ship at the dock, the mouse becomes teh attack icon and the dock's gather point is then set at the next place where you click. You can skip the bug by changing the hotkey or by pressing esc, but it's very irritating.
Buildings
When you don't have an enemy TC in your LOS but in the fog of war then the god statue will appear as Isis when you look at it. This has happened with all civs...possible bug?
GameplayGeneral
At the end of each game, pop up a "save record" dialog. This would allow you to give a name to the recorded game that's saved instead of losing it as Recorded Game 1, Recorded Game 2, or whatever. There should be a default name in this dialog - for example if I play a DM against someone named Bob the default might be "DeathMatch Matei vs Bob 29.11.2002 7.07PM".
Save chat messages in recorded games to play back when someone views the record. Also maybe for each player, store a copy of their last one or two games played so others can view the record and save it if they want to.
Add co-op mode (2 people share the same player) and maybe observer mode (people can just watch a game instead of participating if they choose this).
Enable all the triggers that work in single player to work properly in multiplayer, if possible of course.
is there anyway to make it so if a pop up comes up on your computer AOM overides it so you can still play the game instead of getting out wherever you click?
The map generator often gives unfair distribution of resources. As Egypt, (most gold dependant civ)it is very important that you have an early supply of gold. Its very frustrating when you have only 1 gold pile on your side of the map when your enemy has 3 right near his TC. This happens alot on maps like Anatolia and Ghost lake where if you dont get gold you are "up the creek without a paddle".
New: I'd really love the ability to overload(or something like that) the hotkeys. Greek (at least in AoM) is the only civ to get archery and stable, this takes up space in the hotkey config for other civs, so if i could overwrite the key for say where archery range was, and put seige if it were eggy or just a temple if norse or something.Naval
Make water combat more interesting by making docks with fishing boats garisoned within fire arrows (weakly but enough to prevent whoever gets 2 arrow ships first from winning by numbers), and make ramming ships (or a weaker version) available in Classical to counter an enemy who goes to Heroic for siege ships or MU's.
New: This is one that goes with the fishing ship bug. Some fishing spots i.e. those of the afflicted fishing ships get permenantly buoyed. Even deleting the fishing ship doesn't help. These bugs are disastrous in an early water econ.
Norse
New: I think they levy infantry(the speed of creating units from barracks) is too expensive.(600 Food) While the second levy thingy is only 500 Food.
Deathmatch
New: Is it possible to nerf the Fenris Wolf pack speed in DM Games? Not to be whining, but almost nothing can stop them. Fenris wolves in deathmatch are ridiculous and overpowered. In packs of 15 (which isn't very difficult to make), they have by far the fastest speed in the game combined with 45+ hack attack which rip entire towns to pieces in minutes.
It takes about 4-5 priests to kill one fenris wolf because of their pierce armor and are impossible to chase by hersirs because they are too slow, not to mention the limited number of heroes the Greek can have.
I suggest decrease their speed and HP, or their cost because at 150 gold and a mere 15 favor, even in packs of ten (say 1500 gold) they can topple armies.
