Before a 2x2 game started, one of the opposing players said not to use a couple of GP's as they cause problems with the game and listed 3 GP's, all of which my teammate and I had, one of which was Pestilence, which I use in practically every game. So my teammate and I both said "Huh" and basically ignored the request. The only GP I'm aware of that causes problems is Tornado.

One of the opponents FB'd near me, so I sent some mil units over and used Pestilence on his RAX. In about 5 seconds the game ended with the "Out of Sync" error.

Is this some sort of new trick, or is Pestilence actually a problem on some maps, some circumstances?

FAILURE is not an option, it comes bundled with the software.

nah out of sync is usually caused by an animation problem

I didn't do it.... Oh you mean my scenarios, ok I made those

surely the player who told you not to use the gps had a mod or some other download which made his game crash if certain gps were used...

yeah, a similiar thing that can happen is if people delete all except 1 random map then a "random" random map will always be one particular map.

ESO's system needs to be changed so it scans ALL files that AOM needs to run, and if any of them are missing (or changed, rigged, whatever), then it'll kick them out and tell them to reinstall.

Or if someone's game crashes due to an animation error, instead of just an out of sync, whoever crashed automatically loses.

Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Preparation can only take you so far... After that you gotta take a few leaps of faith.
