I only want to know one thing really. Will you be able to select what gods to randomize between? Like, say you hate playing with hades and egypt, but wanna go random between norse, zeus and pos. Will that be possible?

well Hope_, i can answer one question.

I recall some article I was reading and it said that it depends on the cool-down times. Some god powers, which are extremely powerful, will be only used once, but others, it depends on the power. The trap thing or something i'm estimating 10 minutes, and the ball thing, about 7 minutes.

The Spider's Lair, or trap, as you call it, will have a cool down time a LOT lower than ten minutes. Probably five or six, if that.

The "ball thing" you're reffering to is implode, which is a one-time-use god power.

Question for Soccy:

Will you be able to change the stats for units in the editor?

If so, which stats?

Hitpoints?
Range?
Armour? (including hack, pierce, crush)
Attack? (including hack, pierce, crush)
LOS?
Speed?
Price?
Building Location?
Population Req.?
Bonuses? (aka counters)

Also, with the same question topic still in mind, will the effects change all like-units, or just specific units?

Yes, please make this thread sticky, it'll be much easier for people to find and come by so they don't go off making a new thread for every question (which was what I was just about to do).

I have two questions, both concerning god powers.

Firstly, the Traitor god power... are you allowed to use it on any unit at all? Because if you are that would be extremely unfair... you're allowed to use it twice with a cooldown time of 4 minutes; that makes it possible to turn a titan, son of osiris, nidhogg or a Greek hero to your control.

Secondly, the Hesperides god power, are the units created instantly like Hel myth units and mercenaries or do they take time to make? If so, how long?

Is the increased strenght of myth units and GPs really noticeable?

Is the campaign storyline more absorbing than the original?

just look at it, anubis can cast serpants once and spider lair can be cast 3 time, is that fair?

4.Are the titan gods myth units best?

I think not cause the unit tables show that their hp is not so good. well i dont have to game so cant tell. mabte u can.

Yeah, but the serpents stay around, the spiders die or disappear after one kill. Plus it also has a cooldown time so I think its balanced

Hope - atlanteans get favor by making more TC's (they, uniquely, make TC's in archaic if they have the resources)

I don't think there's any favor-increase thing for other civs, but eggy now have a tech that allows priests to pick up relics

Well I'm guessing that as long as they have a TC, they gather favor (which means it's free, just like Norse) If we just consider the TC's as eggy monuments...it works out

Getting around to that, but my game is going through quite the interesting bug in that it doesn't let me advance and a lot of the interface graphics are gone. Right now I'm working to fix that.

It takes time. They train about as fast as any other average myth unit.

These technical problems you are having are troubling. Is this a problem w/ screener version ES sent you or are the optimized graphics, titan animations, etc. requiring significantly more performance from your computer?

My guess it's just a bug with the marketing beta. I wouldn't expect to see it in the final version

2 question about the tartian gate.

1. do the wolfs from the tartian gate attack each other?

and

2. what if opponents cast both tartian gates next to each other will they start killing each other and also start destroin the gate?

or r they all neutral to other enemy exept them selfs.

. How is the cost of the old myth units now? They would cost less favor and resources, but is it really a difference? You said already the Atlanteans use a lot of myth units. Now I want to know how the old civs work.
